Across The Road

A Pint In There
Then Ow'r Tae "The Livingstonian"
The Sloap Oan The Flair
Made Ye Feel Quite Giddy
So It's Up The Road
And On Tae "The Smiddy"

Then Ow'r Tae "The Wellington"
Fur Anither Jar
Then Off Again
Tae "The Priory Bar"

Ah Nearly Furgot
"The Castle Vaults"
Ye Come Oot O' There
Doing Summersault's

A Game O' Darts
Wi' Wee Tam Horner
Then Aff Ah Went
Tae "The Cosy Corner"

After a Pint In "The Central"
Ah Wiz Tapped Fur The Reddies
Half An Hour Later
Ah Wiz In "Big Teddies"

Someone Farted
A Terrible Smell
So Ah Boddy Swerved
Tae "The Parkville Hotel"

A Hauf In There
An Anither Jar
Then Doon The Road
Tae "The West End Bar"

Efter A Walk
Yur Due A Rest
So Ah Jist Drapped In
Tae "The Hoolet's Nest"

A Game O' Dominoes
Wi' Awe Yir Pals
Then Oot Fur A Walk
And Intae "Vals"

A Pint in There
And Ah'm Oan Ma Knees
So Ah Jist Crawled Owr
Tae "Auld J.B.'s"

Two Ta Go
So Haud Yur Piles
There's Only "Blakely's"
And "Matt Biles"

Ah Went Intae "The Doon Inn"
Oan Ma Way Hame
Then Intae "The Commercial"
Tae See An Auld Flame
But The Flame Wiz Oot
So Ah Got A Lift In A Car
And Landed In "The Village Bar"

Ah Never Mentioned
"The Livery Hotel"
Or Awe The Clubs
It Wiz Jist A Drink
In Awe The Pubs

But Ah'll Dae That The Morra
When Ah'm Oot Fur A Lager
A Good Excuse
Fur Anither Stagger...
