Hardie Street
 |
Hardie Street, which runs from Craig Street through Victoria Street and still exists today virtually unchanged.
This would have been the view of Hardie Street from Auchinraith School's main gates.
If you have any stories or memories of Hardie Street, let Bill Know. More |
My name is Amanda Short and I live in Australia. I believe the attached photo c. 1850 is the place where my great grandfather Alexander Crawford grew up - on the back of the photo are the words Cadha Camp - Crawford family residence. More |

Bothwell Castle sketches from the Blantyre Priory c1758
I believe they date back to 1758 and made by a journeyman come surveyor who was following the Clyde from Lanark towards Glasgow making drawings and notes on the way. |
A Watercolour of Rosendale.
I like this very much, even more than the original photo. The Horshoe Bar, or better known as Kelly's Corner, named after James Kelly of Glasgow Celtic fame is clearly shown on the right hand side. |
