PIT ACCIDENT.—On Monday morning, while a young man named Frank Wilson residing at Stonefield, was employed in No. 2 Coal Pit, belonging to Messrs Merry & Cunninghame, a fall took place from the workings and injured him so severely that little hopes are entertained of his recovery.
Wilson’s father and two brothers were killed in the Blantyre explosion, while a third was killed some time ago in Greenfield Colliery.
