Marriage Banns Proclaimed from The Church Steps

The other night the banns of marriage were read from the steps of the Livingstone Memorial Church of Scotland by the Rev. Archibald Frew and the marriage took place two nights later in the church of Mr John McDonald, Morris Crescent, and Miss Helen Davidson, Stonefield Crescent, both of Blantyre.

The groom and his bride are members of the Livingstone Church, and Mr McDonald reported for military service on Monday.
