When ah wis wee and went tae St. Joseph’s
Ah wis wan of life’s wee dreamers,
Always oan a school trip somewhere
Wae a heid full of streamers.

When a wis wee and went tae St. Joseph’s
Ah wis always getting the belt.
Ah wis always getting intae trouble
Just because of the way ah felt.

When ah wis wee and went tae St. Joseph’s
Ma teacher hut me wae her magic ruler,
Then ah turned intae Steve Mc Queen
And she sent me tae the cooler.

When ah wis wee and went tae St. Joseph’s
Ah could nae concentrate,
Ah wis always dreaming in the classroom:
Ah wis Alexander The Great!

When ah wis wee and went tae St. Joseph’s
Ah wis just like a little cloud,
Drifting in the atmosphere;
Far from the madding crowd.
