Tae listen tae the “sins” that’s telt
An’ haud ma ears in shock

I wish I was a fly oan the wa’
In every Blantyre boudoir
Tae listen tae the tales of passion
Naw a cannae go that far

I wish I was a fly oan the wa’
In the doctors waiting room
Tae listen tae the fictitious ailments
That’s gaun aroon oor toon

For this wee fly he’ll be content
Wae aw’ that ***** aboot
For he’ll be feasting like a king
Forever that’s nae doot.
